Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree.

Experience: Minimum three to five years of successful principal and major gifts experience. Preferred Experience: Demonstrate experience in effectively working with all levels of leadership and staff. Demonstrate success in soliciting major gifts (gifts of $10,000+). Experience securing philanthropic support for a hospital or health system.

Certification/Registration: Preferred CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive).

Skills And Knowledge

Demonstrable knowledge of the principals and best practices associated with major gift fundraising.

Possesses strong analytical skills.

Strategic approach to problem-solving.

Personable presence, demeanor and the desire to work face-to-face with the external community, including volunteers and donor prospects.

Outstanding commitment to customer service.

Willingness and ability to learn and utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Raiser's Edge.

Strong attention to detail, with an outstanding ability to multi-task.

Initiates and has the ability to work independently.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
