Duties/Responsibilities
- Generate effective design solutions that accurately capture the client’s vision, operational needs, and functional requirements.
- Generate design sales by actively seeking new opportunities and by nurturing existing clients.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with architects, operations teams, management companies, and end-users to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with specialty manufacturers and fabricators throughout all phases of the design process.
- Work closely with the internal technical support team to ensure accurate construction documentation, drawings, and specifications.
- Cookordinate and interface with architectural, design, and engineering teams to support successful project execution.
- Cookordinate detailed project specifications and recommend the company’s preferred manufacturers where appropriate.
- Assist in maintaining and improving department standards and processes.
- Grow industry knowledge through Avanti sponsored training.
Required Qualifications

- Excellent organizational skills.
Education/Experience
- Five years design experience leading foodservice design projects.
- Knowledge of industry standard software required to perform job duties.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business preferred.
Physical Demands
- Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
- Hand dexterity and eye and hand coordination is critical.
- Lifting. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
- Sitting. Must be able to sit for long periods of time, but at least 50% of the time.
- Standing. Particularly for sustained periods of time.
- Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.
- Walking. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one workstation to another.
