About The Role
We're seeking a Senior Brand Designer who will help elevate our brand, with a focus on visual systems, illustration, and motion. You'll contribute to refining and evolving our brand guidelines, ensuring they're applied consistently across 360° experiences. You'll create the visual content that lives within our website frameworks, while also supporting social and broader brand initiatives. This is a role for someone comfortable with ambiguity, high ownership, and helping build structure as the team continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve scalable brand systems across illustration, graphic language, typography, composition, iconography, and image-making.
- Create distinctive visual assets and storytelling systems for web, social, editorial, campaigns, and other brand touchpoints.
- Translate strategic and creative direction into clear, ownable visual concepts that can flex across formats and channels.
- Move fluidly between mediums, owning projects end-to-end from initial concept through launch with a high degree of creative autonomy.
- Contribute to concept development, creative presentations, mood boards, and visual narratives for campaigns, launches, and broader brand initiatives.
- Build reusable templates, toolkits, and guidelines that enable teams to apply the brand consistently without sacrificing creativity.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and leadership to define how Cleo shows up across every touchpoint.
- Collaborate with the ECD, Head of Design, and Head of Art to turn marketing objectives into cohesive, brand-led creative executions.
- Present work with a clear articulation of the design rationale and partner with designers, animators, developers, and external collaborators through final delivery.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience either in-house at a fast-paced, high-growth tech company, and/or studio experience from renowned agencies such as Collins, Uncommon, JKR, Pentagram (or hands-on experience at small, high-impact studios).
- Demonstrate a strong portfolio of brand design work that showcases your craft across visual systems, illustration, and motion.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining trend-leading brands.
- A growth mindset with a curiosity to learn, iterate, and improve continuously.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a DIY, roll-up-your-sleeves culture, while maintaining high design standards.
- User-obsessed approach, ensuring design decisions are informed by audience needs.
- Ability to lead by example, elevating the design output of the entire team.
- Fluent in the language of product design, bridging brand and product experiences seamlessly.

Pay
United States: $78,000 - $130,000 gross annually. Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience.
