Job Description Senior UX Designer Must Have Technical/Functional Skills As Senior UX Designer, you will contribute to our studio by: Client Own broader parts of the project Contribute to the broader strategy of the work Understand project holistically Craft Mastered your craft and are a go-to person for advice Specify how things should be set up and delivered across disciplines Culture Responsible for specific initiatives within the studio Encourage others to take an active role in the studio Roles & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Digital background / strong digital skillset in UX and UI design. Developing unique, feasible consumable product solutions which deliver added value to our existing customers, new customers, and end users Cutting edge, pro-active product innovation ‘Can-do' attitude that always delivers on time and to the highest quality Own projects from conception through to delivery ensuring consistency and quality of design output Lead concept design across a variety of project types spanning web, mobile & device Participate in and lead both team and client workshop sessions. Gain client and stakeholder buy-in to your ideas through effective presentation and engagement. Work with technologists to ensure effectiveness and feasibility of your designs Managing and mentoring the more junior members of the design team Motion graphics design / video editing skills desirable but not essential Qualifications Proven experience in a senior design position within an agency or product business Excellent communication & organisation skills Strong conceptual and design skills Good understanding of design fundamentals (type, space, form) A strong opinion and the ability to sell your vision to clients Experience designing from customer insight and iterating from data. A passion for emerging technologies, devices, and digital products with a focus on usercentric design A team player that loves collaborating with clients and colleagues. Experience using prototypes to iterate, optimise and validate your designs through user testing Working knowledge o f production processes i.e., how work is realised from idea through to finished app/website/video/etc. Generic Managerial Skills, If any Problem-Solving & Analytics: Excellent analytical skills to diagnose complex challenges and design effective solutions. Communication & Leadership: Exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-focused narratives for diverse audiences. Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to cross-functional development, engineering, and data teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices.
