Responsibilities

Support the development of the systems required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.

Develop and maintain reliability models and simulations for systems under development.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and thermal engineers to ensure reliability requirements are met.

Contribute to the development of reliability data collection and analysis processes.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior reliability engineers.

Participate in reliability reviews and assessments for project milestones.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in reliability engineering, preferably in aerospace or space-related industries.

Experience with reliability tools and software such as Monte Carlo simulation, reliability growth modeling, and data analysis tools.

Strong understanding of reliability metrics and their application to complex systems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Passion for space exploration and a commitment to safety and reliability.
