Senior Design Estimator

Essential Job Accountabilities

• Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Designs and develops solutions by working with CAD Designers and Sales Team.
• Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Solves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years experience designing or estimating MHE technologies and storage solutions.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams on large projects.
• Detail oriented with superb time management.
• Strong communication skills – clear and concise interpersonal verbal and written.
• Computer literacy – AutoCad, Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project.
• Must be able to thrive and succeed in an innovative environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity.
• Able to perform high level data analysis, detailed cost tracking and reporting.
• Experience with one or more of the following major conveyor manufacturers: Intelligrated, Dematic, Automotion, Hytrol, TGW.
