About the Role
The Senior Technical Staff Engineer on the Technical Services team will provide technical oversight of New Product Development (NPD), Changes to Service (COS), and Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) activities across HPG. This role will also assist in product investigations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Review and ensure parts meet all HEICO design and quality requirements prior to receiving FAA Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA).
- Conduct detailed reviews of technical and quality inspection data to verify compliance with HPG Policies.
- Advise and mentor HPG Engineering and Quality team members on FAA-managed PMA activities, focusing on HPG Policies, Mechanical Design, Technical Requirements, Quality Systems, and pertinent FAA regulations.
- Participate in product investigations, including forensic and engineering analysis, reporting, and preparation of briefing materials for customers and regulatory agencies.
