Responsibilities
- Organize and lead others through the implementation of the project process from design through construction.
- Perform construction administration activities – responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, preparing field observation reports, and punchlisting.
- Coordinate within a multi-disciplinary team structure – including engaging virtually with team members in different geographic locations.
- Supervise the work of other design professionals.
- Balance multiple priorities; coordinating work with engineering disciplines and specialty consultants; independently as well as collaboratively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher-level degree from an accredited Architecture school.
- Minimum of 10 years of applicable professional experience.
- Focus on Life Sciences projects with specific experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing projects.
- Advanced understanding of structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and other building engineering systems and their interrelationships in Life Sciences projects.
- Command of building codes and other regulatory requirements.
- Experience performing construction administration activities – responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, preparing field observation reports, and punchlisting.
- Ability to coordinate within a multi-disciplinary team structure – including engaging virtually with team members in different geographic locations.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid environment with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
- Strong interpersonal skills – speaking, writing, and most importantly listening.
- Proficiency in Revit with advanced understanding of developing construction documentation deliverables through use of BIM.
- Proficiency in Navisworks and Revizto.
- Proficiency with MS Office, and PowerPoint, and Bluebeam Revu.
Qualifications
- United States Citizen.
- Preferred – Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards and cGMP requirements.
- Familiarity with LEED and / or sustainable strategies.
- Involvement in professional and/or community associations.
- Ability to contribute to the development of new ideas, techniques, and standards.
Skills
- Technical knowledge with a solid understanding of construction detailing and constructability, as well as specifications.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $132,900.00 to $225,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
