The F-22 Raptor Team is seeking a Senior Design and Analysis Engineer in Berkeley, MO or Richardson, TX to join the F-22 Raptor Mission Design and Analysis Team with a focus on developing cutting edge engineering solutions to continue to advance the world’s premier air superiority fighter. As a Senior Design and Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for developing engineering solutions for the F-22 Raptor, including both enhancing existing field units with the addition of new capabilities, as well as architecting and testing completely new systems. In this role, you will be joining a cross-functional team to progress our products through the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Responsible Engineers, customer technical staff, suppliers, and Lockheed Martin teammates to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements for F-22 avionics sub-systems and weapon system architecture
- Analyzes and translates requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications in support of lab and operational environments
- Analyzes test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 9+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education
- Ability to obtain F-22 Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
Skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, engaging with multiple teams and being responsive to agile requirements and critical path customer need dates
- Experience in avionics, electrical, and/or a mission systems role
- Experience with agile development methodologies
Pay
Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: Berkeley, MO: $136,850‑$185,150; Richardson, TX: $146,200‑$197,800.
