Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy for North America across all segments and buyer personas; collaborate with global Brand, Demand Gen, Events, Product Marketing, and Paid Media teams to adapt strategy for regional impact.
  • Partner with regional Sales leadership to align marketing with Sales rhythm and pipeline goals.
  • Use AI to model scenarios, forecast ROI, and rapidly test unconventional approaches; present bold, data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead strategy huddles with global teams, regional partners, and Sales to energize stakeholders and rally everyone around ambitious goals.
  • Orchestrate alignment across global marketing functions; design cohesive campaigns that integrate brand, demand, events, and creative messaging into a unified NAM motion.
  • Build and energize a coalition of global and regional teams; align priorities, remove blockers, and ensure execution.
  • Get hands-on with high-impact initiatives: guide campaign builds, shape creative direction, push boundaries, and iterate relentlessly.
  • Use LLMs and AI tools to rapidly generate campaign concepts and messaging; adapt global work for NAM at speed without sacrificing quality.
  • Work closely with regional Sales teams and SDRs to understand market feedback and adapt programs accordingly.
  • Advocate for regional needs with global teams, push back when necessary, and find solutions that strengthen collaboration.
  • Coach execution partners (agencies, global colleagues, internal teams) and remove blockers; own the connective tissue across all functions.
  • Drive NAM market performance: brand awareness, competitive positioning, pipeline, customer acquisition, and growth velocity—accountable for how Deel shows up in the region.
  • Partner with regional Sales and Analytics to identify what’s working and where to double down; bring market insights back to global teams.
  • Build strong feedback loops with Sales, customers, and regional partners; adapt strategy based on real market signals and wins.
  • Lead cross-regional collaboration: share NAM learnings with other regions and bring global insights back to NAM; elevate regional marketing excellence.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in marketing, growth marketing, or integrated campaigns (SaaS/tech preferred); experience driving full marketing P&L or regional budget is a plus.
  • Proven track record building and scaling multi-channel marketing programs that drive pipeline and revenue, with examples of bold, creative campaigns.
  • Deep experience with demand generation, brand, creative, and digital marketing; a strategic generalist who can execute across functions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: identify gaps, build coalitions, move fast, and ship—comfortable operating in ambiguity and owning outcomes.
  • Advanced ability to forecast and optimize funnel performance across channels; strong command of marketing metrics (CPL, cost per SQO, ROAS, pipeline ROI).
  • Hands-on builder and creative: take initiatives from concept to launch, analyze, and iterate; ship fast without sacrificing quality.
  • Outgoing, energetic, people-first approach: build genuine relationships, energize teams, and rally stakeholders around ambitious goals.
  • Exceptional collaboration and influence skills: align teams without authority, communicate with clarity and confidence, and drive buy-in.
  • Comfort with AI tools and eagerness to leverage them for campaign creation, content, and optimization (LLMs, agents, automation).
  • Leadership presence: at ease presenting to executives, Sales teams, and customers; able to inspire and persuade.
  • Operates as a senior individual contributor or emergent leader: autonomous, accountable, highly data-driven, and self-motivated.
  • Commercial mindset: think like a founder—focused on growth, acquisition, and customer delight.
  • Strategic and creative: balance data-driven decision-making with intuition, taste, and boldness.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Pay

Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country’s currency using a market-aligned conversion. Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.
