Senior Decision Scientist - Specialty Operations
About the role
We’re building a world of health around every individual — shaping a more connected, convenient and compassionate health experience. At CVS Health®, you’ll partner with Specialty Operations leaders to solve complex business problems using data, analytics, and quantitative decision-making. This highly consultative role focuses on translating ambiguous business questions into analytical frameworks, generating actionable insights, and influencing strategic and operational decisions. The Senior Decision Scientist will serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, combining strong statistical reasoning, business acumen, and structured problem-solving to identify opportunities for operational improvement. Rather than building production AI or machine learning systems, this role emphasizes rapid hypothesis generation, statistical analysis, experimentation, forecasting, and communicating clear recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, thrives in ambiguous environments, and enjoys working directly with business leaders to solve high-impact operational challenges across CVS Specialty.
