Senior Decision Intelligence Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Decision Intelligence Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will focus on building and optimizing decisioning capabilities that support scalable, production-grade healthcare operations. The engineer will partner closely with data science, engineering, and operational stakeholders to deploy machine learning pipelines, strengthen feature engineering practices, and improve the reliability of learned decision workflows. Success in this role will require a strong understanding of reinforcement learning and decision systems, along with a practical approach to monitoring performance and addressing failure modes in production. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $106,900 – $147,000 annually Responsibilities Build and deploy ML and decisioning pipelines for the company's decision intelligence platform. Develop production pipelines with a focus on MLOps and feature engineering. Monitor and optimize decision workflows to ensure compliance with operational constraints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable production systems. Diagnose and address failure modes in learned policies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software engineering or quantitative research for large-scale production systems. 2+ years of hands-on experience with reinforcement learning and decision systems in production. Deep understanding of Markov Decision Processes and related concepts. Proficiency in Python 3.x and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
