Senior Dealer

Responsibilities

• Deal and conduct table game play
• Maintain professionalism and integrity within the game
• Ensure gaming activity adheres to all established rules and regulations
• Maintain acceptable game pace and security to minimize potential theft
• Provide customer service to all guests
• Achieve profitability, guest satisfaction, and workforce strength and compliance goals
• Create a fun, exciting, and professional working environment for staff and a pleasant experience for guests

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six years of table games experience
• Fast and accurate cash handling skills
• Six months of experience in customer service field preferred
• Prior poker experience or successful completion of poker school required
• Pass a basic math test and audition demonstrating adequate poker skills
• Quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations for determining winners and losers and collecting/paying out bets
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Physical abilities to sit, stand, walk, and move easily around the pit area and entire property for the duration of the shift
• Excellent listening and responding skills with excellent peripheral vision
• Ability to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality
• Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and perform job duties in various work areas such as confined spaces

Qualifications

Must possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards, and money.

Skills

Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets.
