Senior Deal Operations Analyst

About the role
We are seeking a passionate and highly driven Deal Operations Analyst to join the Deal Operations team at Postman. This role reports to the Head of Deal Operations and works collaboratively with Sales, Finance, Legal, Renewals, and Orders teams throughout the deal cycle—including quote creation, approvals, order form creation, opportunity maintenance, and bookings—to ensure compliance with Postman policies and processes.
The Revenue Operations team is integral to the success of the Sales and Customer Success organizations, driving revenue, renewals, and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Create Quotes and Order Forms for sales deals
- Review Quote approval requests and approve qualified Quotes
- Process bookings review of customer orders
- Assist in the complete order cycle, ensuring quality and efficiency
- Support internal and external customers regarding order booking and tracking
- Address escalations for exception handling related to booking requests
- Research discrepancies in ARR calculations
- Assist with non-standard, custom, or complex deal structures to provide accurate quotes and order forms
- Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Renewals, Collections) to facilitate the order process and solve problems
- Accurately enter deal information into Salesforce
- Process Salesforce transaction data review for post-close audits
- Contribute to special projects related to order processing and Deal Operations process improvements
Requirements
- Experience with Quote to Cash in Salesforce CPQ Tool
- Experience with Ironclad (or another CLM like Conga) preferred
- Experience with back-office operations and strong knowledge of order processing
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and Legal during the deal-making process
- Flexibility to work additional nights and weekends for month and quarter-end, as needed
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and Google Suite

Pay
The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $110,000 to $137,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.

Schedule
This role is in-office 5 days a week for all hub locations (San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Austin, New York City, Tokyo, London). For Bangalore-based roles, employees currently work in the office three days a week, transitioning to five days per week by the end of the year.
