Responsibilities
- Accurately document and provide services to the individuals they support
- Promote independence and community inclusion
- Implement the day program plans, opportunities for self-determination, independent activity, increased productivity and greater community inclusion
- Function as a Team Leader for each individual assigned
- Be responsible for the direction of all staff assigned to that program area
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- A minimum of one (1) year of job-related experience is required, specifically working with people with developmental disabilities or related field
- A minimum of an Associate’s degree or two completed years of college may be considered in lieu of the 1 year experience
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
