Senior Database/Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Administer and optimize enterprise databases supporting cloud and on-premises workloads. Manage database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery capabilities. Support hybrid infrastructure architectures integrating cloud and legacy systems. Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and resiliency testing. Develop automation for database operations and infrastructure management.

Requirements

Candidates must be US Citizens and be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "Public Trust".

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Minimum of 5 years of overall work experience
• Experience in database administration and infrastructure engineering experience
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar database platforms
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, and high-availability architectures

Nice to Have

• AWS Database Specialty or equivalent certification
• Experience supporting mainframe-connected applications
• ArcGIS Enterprise administration experience
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience
• Experience supporting federal government systems

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$116,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
