About the role

The Senior Database Administrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex database systems. They will also ensure data integrity, optimize database performance, and provide technical leadership to the team.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of relational database design and normalization
• Experience with cloud-based database solutions (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Proven track record of successful database administration
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
• Knowledge of database backup and recovery procedures
• Experience with database replication and clustering
• Experience with database security best practices
