Senior Data Warehouse Architect

About the role

The Senior Data Warehouse Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data warehouse solutions, providing architecture and technical expertise for Teradata environments, and troubleshooting data warehouse, batch processing, and production support issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Provide architecture and technical expertise for Teradata environments.
• Support data integration and loading processes from multiple source systems.
• Troubleshoot data warehouse, batch processing, and production support issues.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to development teams.
• Analyse technical challenges and recommend effective solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, technical teams, and stakeholders to support data initiatives.
• Ensure solutions align with organizational standards, policies, and best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Teradata experience
• Experience supporting data loading from multiple source systems
• Ability to provide technical guidance and training to development teams for troubleshooting and batch support
• Minimum 5 years of Linux experience
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to determine appropriate solutions
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience following enterprise policies, standards, and procedures

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Proven track record of success in similar roles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
