Responsibilities

  • Support data quality initiatives by leading remediation activities, improving data integrity, and providing operational and deputy management support to the Data Specialist team.
  • Review, correct, and enrich entity data to resolve inaccuracies, duplicates, and incomplete records.
  • Research and validate information using internal and external sources to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Document remediation actions, decisions, and supporting rationale in accordance with established procedures.
  • Identify recurring data quality issues and trends, providing insights and recommendations to improve processes and quality standards.
  • Follow data governance, quality, and compliance requirements to maintain data integrity and support audit activities.
  • Create and assist with the management of Jira tickets to support issue triage, tracking, and resolution across the team.
  • Manage and follow up on client cases within Salesforce to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Support workload prioritization, monitor team outputs, and assist the Team Leader with coaching, training, and quality reviews.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Information Providers, Sales teams, and other stakeholders to resolve data challenges and improve processes.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, meeting notes, and status updates that communicate remediation outcomes, actions, and data quality improvements.
  • Maintain process documentation, operational manuals, and reference materials to ensure changes and decisions are accurately recorded.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Python, Databricks, automation, and approved AI tools to improve data collection, analysis, and remediation efficiency.
  • Develop technical proposals and recommendations for process improvements and automation initiatives in partnership with senior team members and leadership.
  • Assist with resource planning and team coverage to ensure continuity of operations during planned and unplanned absences.
  • Support onboarding and training activities by delivering guidance, answering process-related questions, and serving as a subject matter resource for the team.

Skills And Competencies

  • Experience in data remediation, data quality management, data validation, and enrichment activities within large and complex datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify data quality issues, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL for data validation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Salesforce, Databricks, and other tools used to support data operations, remediation, and issue management.
  • Experience coordinating activities across a team, including workload prioritization, coaching, training, and quality oversight.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy and consistency while managing high volumes of data.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across operations, product, technology, sales, and external data provider teams.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and relevant professional experience will be considered.
  • Exposure to SQL, Python, Databricks, data governance, data quality management, or related certifications is considered a plus.

Pay

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $56,300.00 - $81,650.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
