Senior Data Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the collections business concepts to be able to match them to appropriate data
• Estimate development time and report on project progress and planning
• Meet milestones
• Write documentation, including but not limited to: required documents for deploying SSIS and SSAS packages, operational documentation, help documentation
• Develop technical competence in SSIS for extracting, transforming, and loading information, and SSAS for developing cubes
• Apply IT requirements related to database access policies, deployment requirements, and development lifecycle policies
• Own and manage the DMC Owned Asset contract import process, including preparation of data and recommendations for improving data availability
• Prepare and process all data import and processing for the DMC Owned Asset pricing process
• Develop and maintain live packages for the DMC operational collections, including communication, interpersonal relationships, and leading the team
• Develop and maintain a good relationship with all business units within and outside of DMC
• Maintain open communication with all business units within and outside of DMC
• Maintain trust, open communication, and a good relationship with the team
• Guide the team to live the DMC values on a daily basis
• Manage regular feedback between business and team on projects/tasks
