Our client, a leading organization in enterprise data management and analytics, is seeking a Senior Data Solutions Architect to join their Enterprise Data Platforms Advanced Analytics team supporting data-driven decision-making initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactive problem-solving, strong technical expertise, and a results-oriented mindset.

Pay

$70/hr. - $73/hr.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable analytics solutions within enterprise data lakes and warehouses to support capacity management and resource optimization.
• Build and maintain a single source of truth for capacity data, automating reporting processes to enable data-driven insights.
• Analyze storage, compute, and resource utilization across Hadoop and cloud platforms to identify efficiencies and improve platform hygiene.
• Lead proof-of-concept efforts for emerging technologies, evaluating their business value and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Hadoop architecture, including HDFS, Ozone, Hive, Impala, and YARN.
• Proficiency in developing API-driven ETL pipelines using cURL, PySpark, and shell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of object storage architectures, including S3-compatible platforms and MinIO.
• Experience with Hadoop platform monitoring tools such as Cloudera Manager, Pepperdata, or Acceldata Pulse.
• Ability to analyze and report on resource utilization metrics, with proficiency in visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Prometheus, or Grafana.
