What You Will Do
- Create strategic solutions from large amounts of data collected from various sources.
- Organize and analyze the data, then interpret the results and communicate them to Lucet stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external collaborators to design research, gather requirements, and translate findings into business and clinical insights.
- Deliver presentations and produce clear, non-technical reports to communicate results, limitations, and strategic recommendations.
- Lead and manage data-driven projects, including data cleaning, task delegation, and oversight of analytic workflows.
- Identify opportunities to leverage insights for business impact while staying current on data science advancements.
Who You Are
- Health Insurance or Payer experience highly preferred!
- Advanced degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or similar.
- 7+ years experience as a data scientist.
- 5+ years in R or Python, where the former is preferred.
- 5+ years In-depth understanding of SQL.
- Competent in machine learning principles and techniques.
- Demonstrable history of devising and overseeing data-centered projects.
- Ability to relay insights in layman's terms, such that these can be used to inform business decisions.
- Capacity to foster a healthy, stimulating work environment that frequently harnesses teamwork.
- Compliance with prevailing ethical standards.
- Ability to pass background check upon hire and throughout employment to include criminal felony & misdemeanor search, SSN validation/trace search (LEIE), education report (highest degree obtained), civil upper and lower search, 7-year employment report, federal criminal search, statewide criminal search, widescreen plus national criminal search, health care sanctions-state med (SAM), national sex offender registry, prohibited parties (OFAC) (terrorist watchlist), and a 10-Panel Drug Screen.
