Over four million consumers have chosen this program, which has raised over $600 million in equity from notable investors.About the Opportunity:The Senior Data Scientist, Credit role involves innovating and enhancing machine learning models that support billions of dollars in efficient and accurate financial decisions. This position collaborates across teams to develop data sources, improve modeling methods, and apply risk-managed models that help customers achieve financial progress.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve practical business problems.Partner with business and technical teams to enhance data sources and modeling techniques.Apply models with sound risk management practices.Share best practices in software engineering and support complex technical problem-solving.Requirements:Experience collaborating on supervised learning models in production for critical applications.PhD with 1+ years or BS/MS with 3+ years in a quantitative field related to data science.Proficiency in software engineering fundamentals and the PyData stack.Generalist data scientist mindset focused on practical solutions.Interest in various ML tools, including established and emerging technologies.Bonus Qualifications:Experience managing technical teams.End-to-end predictive model development.Background in consumer lending or fintech.Interest in neural network architectures for time series classification.Pay Range and Compensation Package:Annual full-time base salary range: $120,000 - $135,000.Additional compensation includes participation in annual incentive programs and equity.Pay is based on experience, education, certifications, skills, and competencies related to the role.Benefits & Perks:Full health, dental, and vision benefits.Flexible Spending Account for medical and childcare expenses.Paid parental leave.401(k) company match.Generous paid time off and flexible schedules.Calm App subscription.Equal Opportunity Statement:Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
