Senior Data Scientist

The Data Science & Analytics team at Jerry.ai is seeking 4-6 talented individuals to join our rapidly growing organization. This team is instrumental in driving impactful initiatives across product, growth, tech, and operations. Responsibilities

• Define the right problems: Understand business questions and the decisions they will inform before diving into data.
• Build and interpret data-driven insights to improve key metrics.
• Drive outcomes: Present findings to stakeholders and recommend actionable next steps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data informs strategic decisions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to independently pull, structure, and interpret data.
• A track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering meaningful impact.
• A clear, persuasive communicator who can influence decisions at the leadership level.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with SQL or Python.
• Experience with tools such as Clickhouse, Metabase, Jupyter Hub, and GitHub.
• First principles thinking: Ability to break down complex problems and formulate clear hypotheses before analyzing data.
• Direct communication skills: Ability to explain complex findings to stakeholders and secure buy-in.
• Ownership mentality: Responsibility for ensuring tasks are completed and addressing issues outside of one's immediate scope.
