Senior Data Scientist

We are currently seeking an experienced Data Scientist Senior to join our Information Technology team. This role offers growth, flexibility, and a collaborative environment.

About the Role

The Data Scientist Senior will construct complex solutions that integrate data wrangling, visualization, and advanced modeling techniques into a seamless workflow using Python, R, or other scripting languages. They will work within modern data platforms like Databricks to develop and optimize scalable data pipelines and machine learning models, automate business workflows, and integrate ML or AI algorithms into decision-making processes. Additionally, they will work with and build AI/ML models, including utilizing and tuning Large Language Models (LLMs).

Responsibilities

• Construct complex solutions that integrate data wrangling, visualization, and advanced modeling techniques into a seamless workflow using Python, R, or other scripting languages.
• Work within modern data platforms, such as Databricks, to develop and optimize scalable data pipelines and machine learning models.
• Automate business workflows and answer business questions to improve CLA by integrating ML or AI algorithms into decision-making processes.
• Develop and optimize AI/ML models, including utilizing and/or tuning Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Develop more autonomy to develop solutions and may lead others, take on administrative tasks, perform support roles, and get involved in new program/project development with client-facing teams.

Requirements

• Demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Experience in data analytics, statistics, data science, financial consulting, computer science or related field.
• Experience with APIs, web scraping, SQL/no-SQL databases, and cloud-based data solutions.
• Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Master's in a Data Science/Analytics/AI is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in data analytics, statistics, data science, financial consulting, computer science or related field required.
• Experience with APIs, web scraping, SQL/no-SQL databases, and cloud-based data solutions required.
• Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Master's in a Data Science/Analytics/AI is a plus.
