Senior Data Scientist

Role Summary

Develop AI and ML solutions to drive improved business performance and efficiency across domains within the Finance, Strategy & Transformation team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AI/ML projects from business needs to deployment and monitoring.
• Solve complex business problems using analytical and quantitative approaches.
• Integrate and curate data from internal and external sources for predictive modeling.
• Create models for visual recognition and natural language processing.
• Identify optimal model architecture and parameters.
• Liaise with stakeholders to provide actionable insights.
• Build partnerships and deliver predictive insights highlighting risks and opportunities.

Required Experience

• 5+ years building AI/ML models for business applications.
• 3+ years hands-on experience training, fine-tuning, evaluating, and deploying models in production.
• 3+ years experience with data lake and cloud services (preferably GCP).

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (Master’s strongly preferred).
• Data Science or AI certifications.

Technical Skills

• Deep expertise in machine learning, neural networks, computer vision, LLMs, NLP, or similar.
• Experience in algorithm selection, model training, feature engineering, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Python and key libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.

Process & Problem Solving

• Expertise in Agile methodology.
• Experience using Data Science and AI for business optimization.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous problems with critical thinking.
• Excellent quantitative and data-driven decision-making skills.

Communication & Collaboration

• Ability to clearly articulate insights verbally and in writing.
• Effectively communicate technical and non-technical information to all levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant Telecom experience.
• 2+ years experience with AI agents and orchestration.
