Senior Data Scientist, Ads Marketplace

Etsy is the global marketplace for unique and creative goods. We build, power, and evolve the tools and technologies that connect millions of entrepreneurs with millions of buyers around the world. The Product Analytics team is responsible for helping drive the success of product efforts at Etsy. This role partners with the Ads Marketplace Squad within MARS, the organization that develops the machine learning capabilities powering Etsy’s search and discovery experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead all analytical aspects of the product lifecycle from sizing opportunities all the way through to measuring success via experimentation for machine learning squads.
• Work closely and collaboratively with the Ads Marketplace leads to define key analysis questions.
• Use rigorous methods to conduct analysis and produce insights to improve the models that power Etsy Ads while defining metrics to ensure robust measurement of product performance.
