Founded in 1921, Terumo Corporation, now part of Organox, provides healthcare solutions globally. The Senior Data Analyst role supports business decisions with insightful metrics and reports.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of data analysis and reporting throughout its lifecycle
- Cleanse data and review computer-generated reports for coding errors
- Gather data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party sources
- Create and maintain processes for generating accurate and timely reports
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Engage with managers to specify data requirements for analysis projects
- Design scripts and tools to extract large volumes of data from websites or other digital sources
- Employ statistical techniques to analyze data and produce actionable insights
- Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids for decision-making
- Conduct in-depth data analysis using advanced statistical methods
- Manage and update databases to ensure security, accessibility, and functionality
- Coordinate with management to align business and informational priorities
Requirements
- Strong foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (Excel, Power BI)
- Mastery in data analysis languages including SQL, Python, and R
- Exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present data with precision and thoroughness
- Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful insights
- Superior communication and presentation skills to simplify complex data insights for non-technical audiences
- Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industries preferred
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical/research field (Math, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, etc.) with 5+ years of experience in data analytics, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience in a senior analytical role
- Quality Management System process knowledge preferred
- Expertise with Databricks preferred
