About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Platform Engineer to architect and scale our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise and a proven track record of building robust, performant data systems. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on implementation skills to support our growing data needs.
Responsibilities
- Data Architecture: Design and implement data architectures for tracking and reporting using standardized models to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Data Modeling: Lead the development of advanced data models and structures that support scalable and efficient data management.
- Pipeline Development: Build and optimize data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency across the organization.
- Data Governance: Manage data access controls and governance to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Platform Scaling: Drive the scaling of data platforms from initial design through to fully established systems, ensuring they meet evolving business needs.
- AI Data Architecture: Collaborate with teams to design and implement data architectures that support AI and machine learning projects.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with and support data analysts with our long-term analytics vision, data systems, and internal collaboration process
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of data architecture principles for tracking and reporting with standardized models
- Advanced expertise in data modeling and structure design
- Experience with data pipeline development and process optimization
- Proficiency in managing data access controls and governance
- Track record of scaling data platforms from initial design to established systems
- Experience with AI-focused data architecture
- Experience communicating and collaborating with technical and non-technical teammates
