    • Implement and evolve RBAC/policy-based access models.
    • Define patterns for least-privilege access, scoped datasets, and governed sharing.
    • Ensure secure handling of PII and sensitive workforce data.
    • Partner with security and governance teams on auditability and compliance.
    • Anticipate future access patterns driven by AI and automation.
  • Snowflake Platform & Data Optimization
    • Own and optimize the Snowflake platform (performance, compute strategy, cost management).
    • Design best practices for data organization, modeling layers, and access structures.
    • Enable scalable and governed data domains for Workforce Analytics.
  • Posit Platform Ownership (R / Data Science Enablement)
    • Own and manage the Posit (RStudio) platform for Workforce Analytics.
    • Ensure secure, performant connectivity between Posit and Snowflake.
    • Enable best practices for data access within R environments, package and environment management, reproducibility, and version control.
    • Support operationalization of Python & R-based analytics, models, and workflows.
    • Partner with data scientists and advanced analysts to improve platform usability.
    • Establish patterns for governed, scalable analytical development.
  • Transformation & Pipeline Enablement

    • Ensure reliability of critical workforce datasets (headcount, attrition, recruiting).
    • Troubleshoot data issues with strong lineage awareness.
  • CI/CD for Data Workflows
    • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data transformations and platform changes.
    • Integrate workflows using Azure DevOps/GitHub.
    • Enable consistent deployment practices across environments.
  • Data Developer Experience
    • Improve platform usability for engineers, analysts, and data scientists.
    • Create reusable templates and patterns across Snowflake, Coalesce, and Posit workflows.

  • Experience with data transformation tools (Coalesce.io, dbt, or similar).
  • Experience designing data access and security models.
  • Experience supporting or working with R/Posit (RStudio) environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience enabling data science platforms or analytical environments.
  • Exposure to Workforce/HR data and PII governance.
  • Experience supporting multi-modal consumption (BI, APIs, AI/ML tools).
  • Familiarity with Azure ecosystem.
  • Experience with data quality and observability tooling.
