1. About Our Client:The organization operates within the enterprise technology transformation space, focusing on modernizing key platforms such as HRIS, Finance, Legal, and Professional Services Automation. It addresses the challenge of updating and integrating complex enterprise systems to improve operational efficiency and data management during large-scale transitions. 2. About the Opportunity:The Senior Data Governance Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring data integrity and quality throughout a major enterprise platform modernization. This position acts as a liaison between governance councils, business stakeholders, and technical teams to support data governance and migration activities, facilitating a seamless transition to new systems. 3. Responsibilities:• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, governance councils, data owners, and technical teams to gather and prioritize data governance requirements.• Facilitate workshops to establish business definitions, data standards, and governance policies.• Profile and analyze data sources to support accurate mapping and migration.• Develop detailed data mapping and transformation documentation.• Collaborate with MDM, integration, and platform teams to validate mappings and ensure compliance with governance standards.• Identify data quality issues and contribute to metadata and lineage documentation.• Maintain data catalogs for enterprise data assets.• Coordinate with platform experts to validate and implement data mapping requirements.• Track mapping progress, dependencies, and resolve issues.• Analyze and document existing data sources and business rules.• Support ETL processes including data profiling, cleansing, and validation.• Perform data quality assessments and implement validation processes.• Assist in designing and testing data integrations between enterprise platforms.• Document data models, flows, and transformation rules.• Identify and resolve data-related issues during migration and post-implementation.• Provide regular updates on data migration progress and risks.• Support ongoing data governance and quality initiatives post-implementation. 4. Requirements:• Bachelor''s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related fields.• 7-9 years of experience in data governance, analysis, or management, preferably in large-scale system implementations or migrations.• Strong skills in data analysis, profiling, mapping, and ETL.• Experience collaborating with Data Governance Councils or similar bodies.• Proven ability to translate business requirements into data governance and quality solutions.• Experience in business and data analysis including stakeholder interviews and process documentation.• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and relational databases.• Strong analytical skills and detail orientation.• Effective communication and facilitation skills. 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• The overall pay range for this role is $71,700 - $131,905, with specific considerations for certain states and locations.
