About the Opportunity
The Senior Data/ETL Engineer role is focused on building and optimizing ELT/ETL data pipelines and transformations to support analytics on a modern data platform. This position involves redesigning data flows, maintaining data views and batch jobs, and supporting data archiving efforts. The role directly contributes to improving data processing efficiency and reliability, enabling better decision-making and mission support.
Responsibilities
- Build robust ELT/ETL pipelines into analytic data warehouses
- Implement authoritative data transformations and optimize performance
- Redesign data replication flows and manage materialized views and batch jobs
- Support historical data archiving processes
- Create technical designs and develop application modules on platform-as-a-service solutions
- Evaluate and recommend improvements in operating processes through automation
- Cook up website updates and address technical issues
- Provide oversight and guidance to development teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience
- U.S. Citizenship required
Pay Range and Compensation Package
The pay range for this position in specified locations is $86,400 to $176,200 USD
