About the role
This is a hands-on technical position focused on migrating PRISM's on-premises MS SQL Server environment and Qlik reporting layer into Microsoft Fabric (Fabric Lakehouse, Data Factory, and Data Warehouse) with Power BI as the reporting layer. You will design and build robust data pipelines, establish solid data modeling standards, and help set the engineering foundation that the team will scale on for years to come. This role also carries mentorship responsibility – you will collaborate with others in the Data & Analytics team, conduct code reviews, and help grow the team's collective capability on the new platform.
Responsibilities
- Migrate PRISM's on-premises MS SQL Server environment and Qlik reporting layer into Microsoft Fabric (Fabric Lakehouse, Data Factory, and Data Warehouse) with Power BI as the reporting layer.
- Design and build robust data pipelines.

Requirements
Commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in a cloud environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Qlik.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
