About the Opportunity:The SENIOR DATA ENGINEER, PRODUCT will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the organization's data infrastructure. This position is responsible for designing data architectures, developing pipelines, and creating data models that support multiple products. The role directly impacts the organization's ability to make informed business decisions and supports various teams by providing reliable, governed data assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and optimization of data models across various data types using AI-assisted tools.
• Own critical data pipelines related to customer data, money transfer, and experimentation platforms.
• Implement monitoring systems for data quality and lineage, including AI solutions for issue detection and resolution.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure pipeline reliability and meet service level agreements.
• Collaborate with non-technical and product teams to translate business needs into data solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 8 years with a Master’s degree, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Dbt.
• Experience in end-to-end data engineering project lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with ETL scheduling tools such as Airflow or Prefect.
• Knowledge of schema design and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience in setting up data quality and lineage monitoring.
• Skilled in leveraging AI and automation for data-driven decision making.

Zone A: $198,000 to $297,000 USD

Zone B: $188,100 to $282,100 USD

Zone C: $178,200 to $267,400 USD

Zone D: $168,300 to $252,500 USD
