Senior Data Engineer - Informatica MDM (Healthcare) - $100 CTC - HYBRID (LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY)

Position Overview

The primary work location is 701 W 51st Street, Austin, Texas 78751. This position is ONSITE/Hybrid with some hybrid work (Mondays and Wednesdays ON-SITE, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays REMOTE). The program accepts LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position.

Business Objectives and Problems

Identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.

User Requirements and Procedures

• Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer system.
• Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements.
• Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program.
• Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.

Skills and Experience

• Experience using Informatica tools including Powercenter, IICS, IDMC, MDM, Axon, EDC, IDQ, Customer360, Supplier360, Entity360.
• Experience establishing Master Data and Reference data for large organizations.
• Experience with Informatica MDM is preferred.
• Experience implementing data quality rules using Informatica DQ.
• Experience working with enterprise scale data sets in Snowflake.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Equivalent work experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
• Masters degree or 6+ years of experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or Public Health preferred.
• Experience at a state agency preferred.
• Experience with Python scripts for automation and interaction with APIs.

Additional Considerations

Contractor will support Data Engineering and Data Governance work in SHARP.
