Senior Data Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/LT pipelines into AWS S3.
- Integration with Custom Source Systems: Build pipelines for MES, MOM, SCADA, PLC historians and custom systems; Develop connectors for APIs, OPCUA, databases, and files.
- Cloud Data Engineering: Use AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Kinesis, EMR; Implement partitioning, lifecycle, and cost optimization.
- Data Modeling & Transformation: Build analytics-ready datasets; Standardize manufacturing data and timeseries datasets.
- Data Quality Governance: Implement validation, monitoring, and governance; Ensure completeness, accuracy, and security.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize for high throughput and low latency.
- Collaboration: Work with IT, OT teams, data scientists, and architects.
Required Skills
- Python, PySpark, SQL
- AWS services: S3, Glue, Lambda, Kinesis, ETL/LT and streaming pipelines
- MES, SCADA, OPCUA, MQTT, Historian systems like AVEVA PI
- Experience: 5+ years in data engineering
Preferred Manufacturing Expertise
