Senior Data Engineer

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Data Engineer position! This is a direct placement opportunity and will be remote in United States with a preference for someone to work hybrid in Buffalo, NY or Orlando, FL. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered. What You'll Be Doing:Design and develop enterprise-wide data architecture solutions that align with business objectives and technology strategiesEstablish and enforce data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices across the organizationArchitect and implement scalable data pipelines, warehouses, lakehouses, and integration frameworks using modern cloud technologiesEvaluate and recommend cutting-edge data technologies, cloud platforms, and tools to enhance organizational capabilitiesPartner with application, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure cohesive and integrated system designCollaborate with governance and security teams to define metadata practices, data lineage tracking, and master data managementImplement robust data quality measures to ensure accuracy, consistency, availability, and privacy across all data assetsTranslate business requirements into technical designs by working closely with business leaders, analysts, and engineering teamsProvide solution design oversight and technical leadership throughout development, testing, and deployment phasesOptimize database performance, scalability, and cost efficiency across cloud and on-premises environments What You'll Need to Have:7+ years of experience in data engineering, application integration, or database design with proven development backgroundStrong expertise in C#/.NET development and cloud-native architecture (Azure strongly preferred)Deep knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies with demonstrated performance optimization capabilitiesProven experience designing application integration solutions including ETL, API patterns, streaming, and event-driven architecturesSolid understanding of data warehouse and lakehouse architectures such as Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, or BigQueryExperience with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data quality best practicesFamiliarity with real-time streaming technologies such as Kafka or Event HubsStrong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate effectively across global, cross-functional teamsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field Pay Range: $160,000 - $180,000 Questions about any of our jobs?
