As a Data Engineer Sr Principal, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Department of State. You will play a crucial role in development and delivering impactful solutions to support the Diplomatic Security bureau of the State Department.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, maintains, and tests infrastructures for data generation as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams
• Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific projects
• Creates and maintains optimal data pipeline architecture
• Develops and conducts tests to ensure data solutions meet documented user requirements
• Analyzes IT environments to identify and assess critical capabilities and recommend solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity
• Collaborates with data science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes
• Performs additional duties as assigned
• Works with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs

Qualifications

• BS degree
• 10+ years of related experience
• Security clearance level: Minimum Secret, Top Secret Preferred
• US citizenship required

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000.
