This role requires deep hands-on expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server T-SQL, and SSIS, along with strong experience in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. The individual will contribute to modern data initiatives, including AI-enabled solutions and iPaaS-based integrations, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure data solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain Oracle database objects including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and data structures using PL/SQL and SQL.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server database solutions using T-SQL, including stored procedures, functions, views, and performance-optimized queries.
  • Develop, enhance, and support ETL and data integration solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and related technologies.
  • Design and implement database and data warehouse solutions, including relational and dimensional models, to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex database, ETL, and performance issues in production and non-production environments.
  • Participate in the full SDLC, following established best practices for requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies effectively, collaborating with project managers, product owners, business analysts, testers, and other developers.
  • Implement and support AI-enabled data solutions and leverage iPaaS platforms for system integration, data orchestration, and automation.
  • Ensure database solutions adhere to security, compliance, performance, and scalability standards.
  • Observe and follow all IT policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentoring to junior and mid-level developers.
  • Support ongoing application maintenance, enhancements, and operational support activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in database development and data integration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Expert-level experience with Oracle Database development, including PL/SQL, SQL, DML/DDL scripting, performance tuning, and optimization.
  • Expert-level experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, SSIS, and Visual Studio–based database development.
  • Strong experience with ETL processes, data integration, and data pipeline development.
  • Strong knowledge of database and data warehouse design, including relational, dimensional, and star/snowflake schema modeling.
  • Experience implementing and supporting AI-enabled solutions within data platforms (e.g., AI-driven analytics, automation, or data processing use cases).
  • Experience working with iPaaS solutions for application and data integration.
  • Proficiency with database development tools and IDEs for Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC best practices, including coding standards, documentation, version control, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Experience participating in or coordinating development activities within project teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly in a high-demand environment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, thoroughness, and commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to provide mentoring and technical leadership within the team.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS or Power BI is a plus.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Linux/Unix scripting, or batch job scheduling tools is a plus.
