Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing database solutions and recommend modernization opportunities leveraging Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
- Design and implement Microsoft Fabric solutions including: Fabric Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, OneLake, Notebooks, Real-Time Analytics, Semantic Models, Power BI Integration.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data movement and transformation.
- Build and support enterprise data warehouse and data lake solutions.
- Perform data modeling, data quality management, and metadata management activities.
- Design and implement cloud-native data solutions using Azure services.
- Develop solutions utilizing: Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Azure DevOps.
- Support cloud migration initiatives from on-premises Oracle environments to Azure/Fabric platforms.
- Ensure cloud architecture aligns with security, governance, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Database Development, or Data Warehousing.
- Oracle PL/SQL development experience: 5+ years.
- Azure Data Platform services experience: 3+ years.
- Microsoft Fabric implementation and administration experience: 2+ years.
- Enterprise-scale reporting and analytics environments experience: 2+ years.
