About the role

This role involves managing and maintaining the critical infrastructure of Data Centers to ensure service uptime and incident resolution. It also includes evaluating sites for data center builds and contributing to training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Tracks and monitors critical environment maintenance and repair to maintain SLAs.
  • Manages incidents impacting data center infrastructure and resolves them proactively.
  • Collaborates with various teams to integrate new engineering design systems and improve operational efficiency.
  • Evaluates suitability of components and processes for data center builds.
  • Supports data center operations and acts as the engineering representative for complex scenarios.
  • Contributes to the development of training programs and serves as a subject matter expert.
  • Provides input for contract administration and resource management for colocation vendors.
  • Manages moderately complex tasks and coordinates multiple projects.
  • Collaborates across the organization to align on expectations and achieve shared objectives.
  • Solves moderately complex issues and proactively escalates unresolved or critical issues.
  • Develops and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participates in the talent development pipeline by interviewing candidates and providing recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center operations, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Oracle processes, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Knowledge of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis and its application to system efficiency and reliability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with data center operations and engineering design.
  • Ability to provide engineering insight to ensure project alignment with company expectations.

Pay

Hiring range in USD: $102,300 - $209,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
