Salary Range: $70/hr. on W2 without benefits
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale Data Lake, Data Analytics, and Data Strategy solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to establish a strategic data architecture roadmap, develop reporting and analytics products, and create implementation frameworks to support multiple program workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-scale data solutions
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical and data architectures
- Develop technology roadmaps, implementation strategies, and project plans
- Create detailed architecture documentation, models, diagrams, and technical specifications
- Implement mission-critical data systems using Databricks and/or AWS
- Deliver data solutions from initial requirements gathering through post-production operations and support
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Lake, Data Analytics, or Data Strategy
- Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions
- Proven experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical architectures
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and/or AWS
- Strong understanding of Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, Data Analytics, and modern cloud data architectures
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and technical writing skills
