Senior Data Analyst
About the Role
Cadmus is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support our financial commercial client. This candidate will partner with technical business consumers across Business Intelligence, Analytics, and other domains to help them adopt, implement, and maximize the value of new data solutions. They will work as a technical liaison, supporting requirements gathering, solution adoption, and ongoing enablement. This role requires candidates to come into the office 3 days per week in Tysons/McLean, VA.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent client service and data analyses in a large, big data enterprise environment focused on the mortgage financial industry
- Spearhead consumer communications and manage both internal and external communications across program SharePoint sites and Teams Channels
- Drive AI and prompt engineering initiatives
- Decompose and migrate legacy reports/views to modern platforms like Tableau and Python
- Support development teams to champion consumer use cases and needs
- Support delivery, requirements, and stakeholder training, and awareness of key datasets to meet regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 6-8 years of professional experience
- Experience across the SDLC, including requirements, design, development, testing, documentation, training, deployment, and operations
- Solid understanding of system development methodologies and techniques, and an excellent grasp of database concepts and principles
- Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced experience with SQL including query creation (such as select queries)
- Experience with Python, Snowflake, Informatica
- Experience working in a Cloud Platform, preferably AWS
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft products, such as Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
- Ability to capture and present operational metrics to Senior Management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects at any given time
- Mortgage and financial data experience strongly preferred

Pay
The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S. Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen.
