About the Opportunity:The Senior Data Analyst role is responsible for leading analytics and reporting for a specific business line, initially focusing on Long-Term Care Insurance products. This position ensures accurate and timely delivery of partner reports and invoices, modernizes reporting infrastructure using current data tools, and provides actionable analysis to support business decisions. The role directly impacts operational and product strategies by moving beyond descriptive reporting to predictive and prescriptive insights. 3. Responsibilities:• Manage recurring invoices and partner reporting for assigned business line with accuracy and punctuality.• Rebuild and maintain reporting workflows using dbt to create tested and version-controlled data models.• Develop and sustain internal data products such as dashboards and automated reports, retiring legacy reports as appropriate.• Write and maintain clean SQL queries against BigQuery and manage code through Git workflows.• Oversee scheduled data pipelines to ensure automated reporting with exception alerts.• Maintain comprehensive understanding of data flow from source systems to final reports to identify and resolve discrepancies.• Reconcile migrated reporting outputs to ensure consistency before decommissioning old systems.• Understand partner contracts and billing terms thoroughly to interpret data accurately.• Collaborate directly with business and operations leaders to align analytics with priorities and operational realities.• Advance analytics capabilities towards predictive and prescriptive analyses that influence decision-making.• Utilize AI tools to enhance productivity and share effective methods with the team.• Prepare documentation to enable uninterrupted reporting during absences.• Identify and address errors or unclear logic proactively, raising concerns early.• Perform additional duties as needed to support team and organizational goals. 4. Requirements:• Experience managing recurring business reporting and invoicing with high accuracy.• Proficiency with dbt for developing tested and version-controlled data models.• Strong skills in writing and testing SQL queries in BigQuery.• Familiarity with Git and code review workflows.• Experience with scheduling and monitoring data pipelines (e.g., Airflow).• Ability to trace data lineage from source to report and troubleshoot discrepancies.• Knowledge of billing contracts and terms relevant to assigned business line.• Capability to work independently with a focus on data accuracy and timeliness.• Experience partnering directly with business and operations leaders.• Aptitude for progressing analytics maturity towards predictive and prescriptive insights.• Competence in leveraging AI tools to increase efficiency. 5.
