Role description

The Senior Data Analyst is a full-time, remote role responsible for leveraging data to enhance PPLIED's matching algorithms and overall platform performance. This role involves collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets related to recruiter behavior, candidate profiles, and hiring outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data models
• Create dashboards and generate reports that inform product strategy and operational decisions across the organization
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities
• Define metrics and test hypotheses to improve user experience
• Present insights in clear, actionable formats
• Mentor team members on best practices in analytics and data usage

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and experience in data analytics, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Proficiency in statistics and statistical analysis methods, including hypothesis testing, regression, and experimentation frameworks
• Experience in data modeling and working with relational or cloud-based databases, including designing and optimizing data structures
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across teams
• Advanced skills with analytics tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python or R, BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI)
• Background in product or business analytics within a tech or platform environment is highly beneficial
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree is a plus
• Demonstrated experience in remote work environments, with strong time management, independence, and stakeholder management skills
