About the role
Curalabel is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team on a one-year full-time contract. In this role, you will collect, analyze, and interpret data to generate actionable insights that support business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, build reports, and develop dashboards that drive operational efficiency and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key business metrics.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through statistical and exploratory data analysis.
- Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business objectives.
- Create and maintain automated reporting processes.
- Maintain data quality and ensure the accuracy and consistency of datasets.
- Perform ad hoc analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, marketing, finance, and operations teams.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Document data definitions, methodologies, and analytical processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience analyzing and interpreting large datasets.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization best practices.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with relational databases and data warehouses.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Understanding of data modeling and database design.
- Experience with predictive analytics or machine learning.
- Knowledge of A/B testing and experimental analysis.
- Experience working in Agile teams.
- Relevant data analytics certifications are a plus.
