Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Curalabel is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team on a one-year full-time contract. In this role, you will collect, analyze, and interpret data to generate actionable insights that support business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, build reports, and develop dashboards that drive operational efficiency and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key business metrics.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through statistical and exploratory data analysis.
• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business objectives.
• Create and maintain automated reporting processes.
• Maintain data quality and ensure the accuracy and consistency of datasets.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, marketing, finance, and operations teams.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Document data definitions, methodologies, and analytical processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting large datasets.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization best practices.
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with relational databases and data warehouses.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Understanding of data modeling and database design.
• Experience with predictive analytics or machine learning.
• Knowledge of A/B testing and experimental analysis.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Relevant data analytics certifications are a plus.
