This is a senior, hands-on analytics role focused on transforming complex data into trusted insights, scalable reporting, and clear recommendations for decision-makers. You will work closely with Beacon project leads, data architects, and client stakeholders to shape analytics requirements, build robust data models, and deliver insights that directly inform strategy and operations. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVES) 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related rolesAdvanced proficiency in SQL for analysis and analytics data modelingExperience building dashboards and reports in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similarExperience working with modern data transformation or orchestration tools (e.g., dbt, ADF, SSIS, Airflow)Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, or advanced analytics tasksExperience operating within cloud data environments (AWS or Azure; Snowflake preferred)Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsEligibility to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications (nice To Haves) Experience mentoring or guiding junior analystsStrong understanding of relational database principles and data modelingExperience working with CRM, ERP, marketing, or operational systemsComfort working with structured and semi-structured data sourcesClient-facing experience, including presenting insights to non-technical audiencesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to high-quality analytics outputs WHAT YOU'LL DO Beacon Data is seeking a talented, Business Intelligence Analyst/ Engineer to join our data team and help us solve complex and interesting problems for our diverse clients. During your initial project, you and your engagement team will assist with building a new data reporting and data orchestration system for several clients. Your Team Will Lead the development of analytics-ready datasets and metrics that serve as a single source of truthAnalyze data from ERP, CRM, and other operational systems to answer complex business questionsWrite and maintain production-quality SQL to transform, validate, and analyze dataBuild and maintain dashboards and reports in BI tools that support executive and operational decision-makingPartner with business stakeholders to translate questions and hypotheses into structured analysesIdentify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data and communicate insights clearlySupport and collaborate on data pipeline and transformation work alongside data engineers and analytics engineersEnsure data accuracy, consistency, documentation, and adherence to security best practices Who You Will Work With You will work under the strategic guidance of Beacon’s Senior Data Architect and receive day-to-day support from an experienced Senior Project Lead. You will collaborate closely with Beacon teammates and client-side analysts, engineers, and IT partners in an agile, team-based environment. This is a highly collaborative role focused on building analytics solutions that enable better decision-making across organizations.
