US Citizenship is required to obtain DHS Public Trust. An active DHS Clearance is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth manual data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights from diverse datasets.
- Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Develop and implement data analysis strategies to solve complex business problems.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
- Utilize PowerBI, Tableau, or similar tools to create dynamic, drill-down, and real-time data visualizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and translate them into effective visualization solutions.
- Create compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and key performance indicators.
- Implement best practices in data visualization to enhance data storytelling and decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tool updates to continuously improve data visualization techniques.
- Work with various data sources and integrate data from different platforms.
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to automate data integration where applicable.
- Generate detailed reports and summaries of analysis findings for presentation to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business teams to provide actionable recommendations based on data insights.
- Ensure data security and compliance with data privacy regulations in all data-related activities.
- Establish and enforce data governance practices to maintain data integrity and quality.
- Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and visualization solutions for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 6 or more years of experience in data analysis.
- Proven experience in data analysis and a strong understanding of statistical analysis.
- Expertise in one or more visualization products (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau), including the ability to design complex dashboards and reports.
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation tools (e.g., Python, R).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Experience with data visualization best practices.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate) are a plus.
