Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide short-term psychotherapy using evidence-based treatment modalities
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Lead treatment, support, and psychoeducational groups
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and model best practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve client outcomes
- Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans, and evaluate outcomes
- Provide crisis intervention and support in emergency situations
- Refer clients to appropriate services and community resources
- Participate in clinical meetings and case presentations
- Support program development and community-based initiatives
- Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and training to interns and clinicians
- Coordinate internship opportunities with post-secondary institutions
- Participate in staff development and training activities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Licensed or license-eligible in Vermont as a Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or a similar mental health professional
- Experience in outpatient mental health settings, preferably with a focus on children, youth, and families
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in mental health care
