Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define security requirements, design solutions, and provide guidance on security technologies.
• Conduct analysis on collected security data and test results.
• Prepare and maintain compliance-related security documentation.
• Define cybersecurity requirements, design, architecture artifacts, strategy, plans, and policies.
• Perform and oversee vulnerability assessments, defining and executing Assessment and Authorization (A&A) events.
• Collaborate with program and engineering disciplines to ensure robust cybersecurity solution alternatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, plus 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity, compliance, and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required (Secret level).
• U.S. Citizenship is required to be eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience with security features and vulnerabilities of various operating systems as defined by NSA, NIST, DISA (STIGs), and USCYBERCOM.
• Expertise in network and system security administration, including OS configuration for MS Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Cisco Systems.
